Dress ok to sweat, bring comfortable shoes, because we will make you work and sweat. Gentleman your shoes should also have a smooth sole, or dance sneakers and they should be comfortable. Ladies bring dance shoes, should be comfortable with smooth soles. If you bring heels, please make sure the soles are flexible and smooth.
We understand if you are nervous a bit for your first salsa class. Because you are about to start something new! No worries. You will meet your salsa dance mates and instructors with very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Like attracts like. Everyone is there to have fun and support each others to grow. We will make sure all students have safety learning environment.
A tip to improve faster, be patient to learn basic steps and timing. More you spend time with basics, faster you improve when it comes to more complicated steps in advanced level. So get these basics now, you will be able to add all kinds of flavors and styles on top of it without struggling in the future.

Salsa dancing is a great way for Elizabeth Cuadros to have fun and improve her salsa skills. Coming from Los Angeles Elizabeth wanted to take salsa lessons and found San Antonio Salsa on 2 with Dario and Yuki. She describes her experience as awesome and amazing. “It’s a great atmosphere and very encouraging. The people and instructors are great,” Elizabeth says about her salsa experience. Coming with no experience, Elizabeth now has some skills and is on the performance team for Salsa on 2.

This New York style of salsa offers salsa lessons in partner work dancing, mambo, and shine. The 8-week course’s purpose is to build a strong foundation to enjoy social dancing in San Antonio. Learn how to dance salsa and have fun meeting new people during the process.
San Antonio Salsa on 2 has provided Daniel Deleon an opportunity to express his passion through dancing. Daniel has been interested in salsa dancing and began taking private dance lessons with Yuki and Dario Garcia. He progressed into taking beginner course lessons and now is on the Salsa on 2 performance team and Advanced beginner course. "Come out what’s the worst that can happen, you’re gonna learn a few things, you’re going to meet some new people, you going to have a great time and you gonna learn how to dance." Daniel fell in love with salsa since day one, and he describes his experience as "a great time." When he isn't dancing, Daniel is working as a pharmacist and photographer.
